Adobe Air Desktop Player No Longer Supported

Due to Adobe consolidating a number of their legacy products into a new offering, which is incompatible with the Digital Theatre desktop player, we have had to make some changes to the way you view Digital Theatre productions.

From the 13th of February 2017, the Digital Theatre desktop player will no longer be in use for Mac or Windows computers. Viewing of Digital Theatre productions will continue to be possible through the website player on digitaltheatre.com or the Digital Theatre App for the Apple iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

We will continue to work towards the best viewing solutions as part of our commitment to improving the Digital Theatre experience.

How do I watch productions I have downloaded previously?

You can continue to watch previously purchased productions by logging in to your Digital Theatre account on digitaltheatre.com or by downloading the Digital Theatre App for the Apple iPad and iPhone and iPod touch.

What will happen if I try to watch on my desktop player?

If you try to access the desktop player after February 13th 2017, you will receive an error message and will no longer be able to access Digital Theatre productions. You will need to access your purchased productions by logging in to the digitaltheatre.com website, or via the Digital Theatre Apple iOS app.

What happens if I don’t have an Apple iOS device?

You can watch your Digital Theatre productions by logging in to the digitaltheatre.com website and using the website player.

Can I still watch Digital Theatre on my mobile?

Yes, you can continue to watch your Digital Theatre productions on your mobile device using the iOS app or via the website player.

How do I watch Digital Theatre on my TV?

To view Digital Theatre productions on your television you will need to connect your computer or iOS device to your TV with an HDMI, DVI or VGA connector and then logging in to the digitaltheatre.com website.

What steps do I need to take?

As the desktop player will no longer be supported after February 13th 2017 we recommend that you uninstall it from your computer.
