New Website Launch - 29/07/2017

Digital Theatre has some exciting news for everyone - we have launched a new website.

As part of our ongoing commitment to improving the Digital Theatre experience, we have introduced a monthly subscription service, providing customers with unlimited access to every production on Digital Theatre. Subscribers can now watch as many productions as they like, as frequently as they desire, throughout their subscription period.

Instead of paying for a Standard or High Definition productions one at a time, there will be a set monthly fee of £9.99 that will give you access to our full production catalogue to watch anywhere, anytime as many times as you like. If you are only interested in 1 production, you can still rent individual productions for £7.99.

Please do not worry if you have an extensive collection purchased already. We've added your past purchases to your account. If you can't find your historic purchases, please see this article for more information.

We have also improved the Digital Theatre website to provide a faster streaming experience. The video player no longer relies on Flash to run, as it much more stable at lower internet speeds. The other benefit to the new video player is that it runs on HTML5 and so will work on mobile devices once again. This means that you can watch all of our content via Android, Apple and Amazon devices.

Our old content remains the same, but we have added two brand new productions to the site: the award-winning Iphigenia in Splott and Frantic Assembly’s acclaimed production, Things I know To Be True. Further releases are planned; we expect to add at least 15 new productions over the next 6 months.

If you have any questions regarding the new website, please feel free to reach out to us. As always, we are here to answer any queries and help with any technical difficulties.

Please note - the new website means a new set of URLs. While your old link to should still work, any other pages saved further into the website will be different. For example, if you had a webpage or link favourited that lead directly to our browse all page, this will no longer work. Please click here for more details.
